This motive is a magnification at the top of the earlier deviation Colorful Portal. This top contains of an infinite hierarchy of portals nestled to each other. I’ve taken the first one. This portal however have not an island in the lower region that contains a copy of the Cubic Mandelbrot set, so I then dived into in to a small dot under the copy of the Nonic Mandelbrot set. The lucky ones of my watchers that have UF may run the parameter file and perform several out-zooms (shift + left button drag down).

Ultra Fractal, formula Heptic Parameterspace3 in the sp3-module written by my dear friend Stig Pettersson, Greenseng here at DeviantART. All his modules, as well as mine can be downloaded from [link]

Below the parameter file, play and have fun :

I like your images.. But make my head aches.. I think that thats fine xD

:aww: thank you :blushes: My images belong to the category "fractals" ;) BTW, have you heard about fractal before?
Reply
:icondie-tonite:
never before.. But I saw some pictures like that when I was looking for wallpapers

Then below some recycled info about fractals:

First: Check out the zoom sequences (only images) from page 4 in the pdf's [link] and [link] . The end motives are my deviations [link] and [link] :D

Second: In my journal [link] you have some links to short cool fractal animations I stumbled over at YouTube

Third: If you wanna try some free simple fractal software, go to my journal [link]

Fourth: Wikipedia has a nice site [link]

Fifth: Maybe you would appreciate my "Chaotic series of fractal articles" [link] if you have a little theoretical interest ;)

Hope you don't feel spammed :D

They are in Swedish ;) But don't sweat, it's the images that are the important thing in these :D

It is beautiful. I must honestly say that I have problems understanding the mathematical formulas for fractals, but I do really love the way they look.

In order to play with fractal software you don't have to know the math :) In fact most fractal artist suffer from chronicle math allergy :hmm: If you wanna try some free simple fractal software, go to my journal [link] ;)

Regarding deep zooms in the Mandelbrot set, if you check out my deviation "Cauliflowerfort" [link] and click the link under "Artist's Comments", from page 4 you can follow the entire zoom sequence in 28 steps :wow:

IF you wanna learn a little about "Mandel and Julia" type of fractals including it's basic monster math, you maybe would appreciate my "Chaotic series of fractal articles" [link] ;)
