This is a Quartic (fourth degree) Julia set. It’s exactly the same set as in figure 9, the very last illustration in article 30) Short Introduction to Quartics in my Chaotic series of fractal articles. It’s a connected 1-periodic Julia set and in this deviation the enclosed regions are colored according to the number of iterations
required for the tested variable to reach a fixpoint. This is done by enabling Diff-bailout.
