Dark Plants attack the Buds by FractalMonster Dark Plants attack the Buds by FractalMonster
Download for 1280x960 resolution

This is a blowup of the “top bud” of the “most left” bud in the previous motive Secrets of the Buds [link] .

Note: The inner structures of some of the buds are NOT due to any mixing of different fractals using layering. In fact this motive is a one layer image drawn due to CCL + SetBorders visualizing both sets in one layer. More about drawing images of cubic parameter space with respect to CCL (Cubic Connectedness Locus) and the use of SetBorders, see the article [link] in my Chaotic series [link] .

No filters or post processing.

Ultra Fractal, formula Cubic Parameterspace3 in the sp3-module written by my dear friend Stig Pettersson, Greenseng here at DeviantART. All his modules, as well as mine can be downloaded from [link]

More info about Cubics can be found at my Cubic Tutorial [link] and the "cubic" articles in my Chaotic series [link]

Below the parameter file. Play and have fun :)

It's amazing. You must spend time to do that o_o I love the contrast between the cold and hot colors!

:omg: I am almost flattered :blushes: Cold and hot colors were also my association :D

Probably as much time you spend on your nice Fantasy motives ;) This is my very hobby..

Yes we both spend a lot of time in what we do! I don't see time passing when I draw.

For sure it's the way of drawing "dual critical point" cubics in one layer that interest you ;) I suppose you've taken a glance at article 19b [link] :D
