THE SIERPINSKY GASKET
Waslaw Sierpinsky describes the Sierpinsky Gasket. The patterns are rather similar to what can be found in Cosmatisk mosaic from the 12th centery..
1) Start with a triangle.
2) Create 3 new triangles with sides having half the length of the original triangle and place them in the corner of the original triangle.
3) Repeat step 2 on every one of the new triangles (in infinities infinity).
