Sometimes not so much colors are required in order to produce a nice image

From Branner Special Cubic, an alternative setup of Cubics, see the pdf-manual included in the download-zip below. Actually the iteration formula is; z -> (b/4 - a/4)(z^3 - 3z) + (a + b)/2, critical points z = +1 Making the set M+) and z = -1 (making the set M-).

*a_real = #pixel (horizontal)
*a_imag = #pixel (vertical)
*b_real = 1.5
*b_imag = 0

Only M+ is plotted.

No filters or postprocessing except anti-aliasing (from 6400 x 4800).
