This motive is uploaded for :iconthunder7: who in a comment on Piercing Drama was wager to see the red and grayscale variant of that motive. Here’s the first red variant. The grayscale variants, the dear reader may check out by simply download the original and convert it to gray scale ;)

The motive is a connected quartic (fourth degree) 1-periodic Julia set (regarding quartic, see the last three articles in my Chaotic series of fractal articles. Diff-bailout is used for coloring the inside domain according to the number of iterations required for the tested variables to reach a fixpoint. In the scrap Black Piercing That is shown without Diff-bailout.

Ultra Fractal, formula Quartic Julia3. No filter or post processing :D

Below the parameter file. Play and have fun :)

The colours and the shape are good overall, but you should zoom in on the complicated swirls instead of leaving the shape zoomed out. Since a fractal is so varied; why not be a little adventurous?

Allow for the swirl patterned figure to cover the entire picture, from top to toe, many fractals you have are breathtaking but a lot of them are structured the same. Be a little adventurous and zoom in on the parts that have the most complicated swirls and a lot of details. The pictures are a bit empty when they have that hollow space outside of the single object in the middle.
