These fractal programs seem pretty number intense for my liking... maybe someday I'll have the wherewithal to try and understand that stuff. For now I'll probably stick with the 'by hand' art that I'm more familiar with. It would be interesting to try creating fractals by hand. Sure they wouldn't have the same accuracy, but it may give me a better visual understanding at least.
