This is a 3D cross section of the 6 dimensional Quartic parameter space :omg: You can read about quartics in the 3 very last articles (30, 31, and 32) in my Chaotic series of fractal articles. So also a little bit in my journal 3D-slices of Quartic Parameter Space and partly in my journal Some remarks about the UF formula Raytrace2. The 3 colors repressents the 3 subsets.

Which 3 axis' are plotted and which 3 axis' are pointing into the 4th, 5th, and 6th spatial dimensions? At which positions at the plotted axis is the this fractal sliced and how is this slice rotated? Well, I leave to the reader to run the parameter file below and look after ;) If you don't have UF you may be able to get the answer if you read the parameter text below visually :thumbsup:

Software: Ultra Fractal.
Formula: Quartic Parameterspace3 in the sp3-module written by my dear friend Greenseng here at DeviantART. All his modules, as well as mine can be downloaded from here.

Below the parameter file Play and have fun :)

Very cool looking! Looks to me like a living Earth or something.

You may be quite right :D It's a 3D fractal. Fractals reminds of nothing and, at the same time, everything :omg: That's one of the things that make fractals so fascinating :wow: BTW, have you heard about fractals before?

I feel the same way looking at your gallery. They seam to be very interesting.

:D They are :wow: Fractal geometry is the math of the new science of chaos and complexity :omg: Below some recycled info about fractals:

First: Check out the zoom sequences (only images) from page 4 in the pdf's [link] and [link] . The end motives are my deviations [link] and [link] :D

Second: In my journal [link] you have some links to short cool fractal animations I stumbled over at YouTube

Third: If you wanna try some free simple fractal software, go to my journal [link] . You don't need to know the math behind :wow:

Fourth: Wikipedia has a nice site [link]

Fifth: Maybe you would appreciate my "Chaotic series of fractal articles" [link] if you have a little theoretical interest ;)

Hope you don't feel spammed ^^;

I think you gave it the wrong name, you should've titled it: "Mother Earth" or something along those lines because it looks like Earth. Very beautiful work.

You may be a little bit right. Bot But Mother Earth does not send out tentacles ;) Anyhow naming is the last difficulty before publishing a hopefully good fractal :D
